With Sienna on the throne, a period of prosperity and stability seems to have begun for the Realm. Until a shocking message reaches the Heirs: the immovable mist that has hung above the ocean surrounding their Realm for as long as anyone can remember has begun to move. And a village has been attacked.

Sienna makes a discovery that turns their entire existence upside down. What follows is a race against time that brings Kazimir onto her path. A mysterious man who gets under her skin like no other – and the feeling is entirely mutual. But to turn the tide, they will have to work together.

Síenna wants to secure her Realm, but the sacrifices feel greater than ever. The struggle forces demons from her past back into the light, and raises an ancient question: can you escape your fate?
