Biografie
Gerald Vreden is a writer, creative director, and cultural entrepreneur with an international track record. He is the creator of the narrative universes Rise of the Mafu and His Story of the World, where mythology, history, and contemporary storytelling converge in a cinematic, immersive style. His literary works form the foundation for international exhibitions, book readings, and performances, presented through tours in cities including New York (Carnegie Hall), Willemstad (Curaçao), Dakar (Senegal), Leeds (UK), Utrecht, and Amsterdam. Vreden is director and co-founder of First Noble Institute, Europe’s leading institute for Afro-Caribbean arts and culture. With over twenty years of experience, he works at the intersection of literature, graphic novels, animation, and immersive media. He lives and works in the Netherlands.
