Tamar Valkenier (1986) was recherchepsycholoog bij de politie. Nu is ze fulltime nomade. Op haar 28ste besluit Tamar haar baan op te zeggen en afstand te doen van al haar bezittingen. Ze laat alles achter en kiest voor een leven vol onzekerheid. Ze houdt van dit onconventionele leven, vooral als er wildernis, avontuur, dieren en oude culturen aan te pas komen.
